Darren received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Health from New Mexico Highlands University and his Master's in Exercise Science from Western Illinois University. Darren is a member of the National Strength And Conditioning Association.

Darren is from Santa Fe, New Mexico and currently lives in East Moline, Illinois. Darren enjoys strength training, outdoor sports, powerlifting and reading.
