Hans received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marycrest University in 2000 and his MS in Physical Education from Western Illinois University in 2003. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA).

Hans grew up in Eldridge, Iowa, and now lives in Davenport. He enjoys working out and coaching.
