Kate received her Bachelor's degree from Northern Iowa in 2008 and her Master's degree from Indiana University in 2011.

She is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.

Kate is from Eldridge, IA where she currently resides.

She enjoys cycling and talking with her friend in Afghanistan.
