Rock Valley Physical Therapy Moves Davenport Location

Rock Valley Physical Therapy announces its Davenport location on West 35th Street has moved to a new location at the Five Points intersection at 1700 N. Division St on March 27, 2017. The location of the new clinic will allow more Quad City area residents to conveniently access physical therapy treatments. This move happens as Rock Valley also opens a new clinic inside of ORA Orthopedics at 6101 Northwest Boulevard in Davenport.
“We are so grateful for the support the community of Davenport has shown us through the years. Their loyalty and word of mouth marketing has been a key to our growth and expansion. These new convenient locations will make it easier for more people in the community to access the great care our team provide,” said Mike Horsfield, CEO, Rock Valley Physical Therapy.
Patients are able to schedule appointments within 48 hours at the convenient location on the southwest corner of Locust and Division. Specialized therapies are available including balance and vestibular treatments, work conditioning/functional capacity evaluations, and treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders in addition to orthopedic and sports physical therapy.
Clinic Manager Anna Perry, PT, DPT, OSC, who has been a part of the Rock Valley family in the Quad Cities area for 11 years, along with Todd Kersten, PT, OCS, will staff the Five Points clinic.
“From our new location, Rock Valley will continue to serve our Davenport residents with the compassionate and competent care they have come to expect. I love working in the Davenport community because people are friendly, hard-working, and proud to be here,” said Perry.
Perry received her BS degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Iowa State University in 2003. She continued her education at University of Iowa earning her DPT in 2005 and achieved her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation in 2008. She is a member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as a member of the Iowa Physical Therapy Association. Since moving here in 2005 she has enjoyed being a member of the Quad City community through activity in Lions International, local cycling clubs, and church.
Kersten received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University 1986 and his BS in Physical Therapy from Langston University 1992. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Private Practice Section as well as the Orthopedic Section. An open house will be held with the Davenport Chamber of Commerce later this year.
