Alyssa is from Geneseo, IL and currently resides in Bettendorf, IA. Alyssa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in Exercise Science and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Azusa Pacific University. Outside of work, she enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and walking her dog.
Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I have always wanted to work in health care. My love for sports and a passion for health and the human body led me to physical therapy. I enjoy being able to help patients return to what they love doing without pain.
What are you involved with in your community?
I volunteer with the Girls on the Run Quad Cities organization which is an international non-profit organization to support the empowerment of young girls.
