Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I have always had a passion for sport, movement, and exercise that guided me during my undergraduate education. After completing a master’s degree with the intention of entering the research field, I realized that I would find the most joy in a career where I could spend more time with other people and less time alone analyzing data. I worked for a year in the fitness industry before returning to physical therapy school. I love this profession because it gives me the opportunity to assist others in returning to full function for daily life and the activities they enjoy.
