Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
My initial interest in physical therapy began as a high school athlete, watching several of my friends and teammates rehabilitate from injuries. As I explored the profession more, I grew to appreciate the variety of impairments physical therapy can address as well as the emphasis on patient empowerment. During my clinical rotations I found I enjoyed working in geriatrics, particularly with those affected by Parkinson’s disease.
What are you involved in in your community?
I run local 5k road races!
