Lauren Adamick
PT, DPT
Lauren is from Lake in the Hills, IL and currently resides in Davenport, IA. She received her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in psychology and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in downtown Chicago. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, family, and friends. Lauren also enjoys hiking and exploring nearby parks.
Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
From a young age, I went with my dad to physical therapy for his knee and the memory of that always remained. When I was in high school, I was lucky enough to be hired as a PT tech/aide, holding this position until going off to college. Throughout college I worked for Rock Valley as a tech/aide – learning and cultivating relationships with other therapists and patients alike. Developing these relationships and growing as not only as a professional but also as an individual has really helped me strive to give back to our patient population and my coworkers who I’ve learned so much from.
