Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I have always loved people and became fascinated with the human body during an anatomy class in high school. I wasn’t quite sure what to do with those passions until I learned about physical therapy when I was a freshman in college. I love that we get to help people get back to doing what they love to do and get to know them in the process! I decided that’s what I was made to do and I have loved it ever since!
What are you involved with in your community?
I enjoy volunteering with the junior high and high school students in the youth group at my church and mentoring a couple of those students one-on-one. I am also involved in mentoring here at work as well as coordinating physical therapy student clinical internships in our clinic.
