Paul is from and currently resides in Decorah, IA. Paul received his undergraduate degree from The University of Iowa in Finance and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, biking, golfing, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Decorah Vikings in all sports.
Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
My dad is a doctor and my mom was a nurse, so I was always interested in a career in the health field. Initially, I was drawn to PT by being able to work with athletes and sports injuries. After getting to PT school and doing internships, I realized that there was much more for PT to offer than just sports injuries. Currently, I enjoy treating a wide variety of injuries and conditions and working with a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
What are you involved with in your community?
I am an active member of the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce.
