Bondurant Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine joining forces with Rock Valley Physical Therapy

Leslie Brant, PT, DPT, FAFS, CIDN, says she found the perfect opportunity to continue to offer great care to the people of Bondurant and its surrounding communities.

Brant and her Bondurant Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine clinic will join the Rock Valley Physical Therapy family on Aug. 14.

The clinic is located at 85 Paine St. SE # B, Bondurant.

“We are very excited to work with the employees at Bondurant Physical Therapy,’’ said Stephanie Kelsick, PT, OCS, CSCS, Regional Manager/Rock Valley Physical Therapy. “Leslie, owner of Bondurant Physical Therapy, has led with exceptional patient care, working hard to take great care of the Bondurant community.  This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Rock Valley’s commitment to growth. Our shared values will ensure that our patients will continue to receive the great care they deserve.”

Founded in 1984, Rock Valley Physical Therapy features 60-plus clinics across Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. One of the nation’s largest therapist-owned and therapist-led private physical therapy companies, Rock Valley employs over 500.

“Rock Valley has similar values with the goal of guiding our clients to live their best life based on their goals,’’ said Brant, who led Bondurant Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine for the past eight years.

A native of Davenport, Iowa, Brant earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from St. Ambrose University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University.

In October of 2016, Brant became a Fellow of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute. Her practice focuses on orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, women’s health, dry needling and instructing senior exercise classes.

“Joining Rock Valley will allow us to help more people,’’ Brant added. “It has been inspiring watching this community grow and clients who I have had the privilege of working with excel and achieve their goals.’’

Brant shares Rock Valley’s philosophy of patient-first care and its everyday goal of “Making Better Lives.’’

“We will continue to be community oriented and put our patients first, with the goal of helping our clients reach their full potential,’’ Brant said. “This community has been warm and welcoming. I am grateful for the past eight years to have had the opportunity to work, volunteer, and raise a family in this community. Many have trusted us with the privilege of providing physical therapy services. The people of Bondurant and surrounding areas are what makes this location so great.’’
