The same great care River Rehab Physical Therapy has provided Muscatine, Iowa, and surrounding communities for two-plus decades, will continue.
On Nov. 3, River Rehab, located at 2008 Cedar Plaza Drive, Muscatine, will become Rock Valley Physical Therapy, uniting two tremendous – and long-standing – physical therapy entities.
“Aaron and Susan Eversmeyer purchased River Rehab in 2004 believing that great care – coupled with compassion – would result in a successful business,’’ said Mike Horsfield, PT, MPT, MBA, OCS, CEO/Rock Valley Physical Therapy. “And they were right. This recipe has resulted in them building a business and team that has served the Muscatine community for 21 years. It is always an honor when someone chooses us to take care of their company, co-workers, and patients.’’
The decision to allow Rock Valley to watch over something that means so much to both of them was not a decision the Eversmeyers took lightly. In March (2025), Aaron and Susan learned they would be grandparents for the first time. Such amazing news made the two reflect fondly on the past but look deeply into River Rehab’s direction for the future.
“After years of being competitors, our discussions with the owners of Rock Valley made us realize we have many more similarities than we do differences,’’ the two shared, noting Aaron Eversmeyer, PT, CEAS, will remain and continue as a therapist with Rock Valley.
“We are excited how our organization’s 60-plus years of combined lessons learned can help us better serve the Muscatine community for the next 60,’’ said Mike Horsfield. “We look forward to what the future will bring.’’
The Eversmeyers are forever grateful for the opportunity to positively impact so many lives in a community so near and dear to them.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for trusting and supporting River Rehab for the past 21 years,’’ the two shared. “Thank you for welcoming us into your lives.’’’
