Andrija is from Zagreb, Croatia and currently resides in Tiffin, Iowa. Andrija received their undergraduate degree from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids and received their Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Outside of work he enjoys soccer, pickleball, skiing, and table tennis!
Why did you become a Therapist?
I became a physical therapist due to experiences I have had personally as a young teenager being told to change sports that I love due to my body anatomy and mechanics where therapy has helped me to keep doing what I love as well as seeing physical therapy in action around the same time with my grandmother who has suffered multiple strokes.
What are you involved in in your community?
I enjoy helping homeless people in regards to providing food and temporary shelter. I have also been helping with cleanups in elderly neighborhoods which is something I enjoy due to some individuals being unable to do it themselves.
