Rock Valley Physical Therapy has been voted “Best of Omaha’’ for 2023 by Omaha Magazine (Omahamagazine.com), a four-decade publication chronicling all that is business and culture in the Omaha, Nebraska, corridor.
The “Best of Omaha’’ contest is in its 31st year.
The clinics, once part of the Specialized Physical Therapy and Stodden Physical Therapy families, joined Rock Valley in 2021. Specialized (three clinics), led by Jeff (PT, DPT, MPT, OCS, ATC) and Jacque Zimmerman (PT), joined the Rock Valley family in December of 2021. Specialized captured the “Best of Omaha’’ honor the previous two years. Stodden Physical Therapy (four clinics overall, 3 in the Omaha corridor) and led by Mike Stodden (PT, MPT), joined Rock Valley in October of 2021.
Rock Valley Physical Therapy, founded in 1984 by Milan, Il. native Steve Layer, features 61 clinics, covering seven regions throughout Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. Rock Valley employs nearly 500 and is one of the largest therapist-owned and therapist-led private physical therapy companies in the nation.
“We are extremely proud our patients have recognized us for the great work we do.” Zimmerman explained. “We are honored especially given the number of other clinics in the area with a much larger footprint, more patients, and longer history than we have. We are proud of our therapists, and all of our staff who make each visit outstanding, which was recognized by our patients when they voted for us. We look forward to continuing to serve the Omaha area with our six clinics helping to make “Better Lives “for our patients, for our staff and our community.’’
Zimmerman said it was wonderful to know Rock Valley patients recognize the great care they receive and expressed his gratitude to those who took the time to vote and the amazing staffs of the clinics honored.
