Shauna is from Alliance, NE and currently resides in Alliance, NE. Shauna received her undergraduate degree from Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs, WY and received her Bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State University. Shauna received her degree for Physical Therapy Assistant from Laramie County Community College. Outside of work she enjoys watching her kids’ activities, reading, and being outdoors especially in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
Why did you become a therapist?
I became a PTA, because after graduating with a graphic design degree, I realized I did not want to spend all day sitting in front of the computer or live in a big city. My daughter had some health issues as a toddler, and I was introduced to the world of PT. It gives me a chance to help people, be creative with treatments, and not sit all day.
What are you involved in in your community?
I help with my children’s school’s fund raisers. I have been involved in our communities Physical Therapy 5k.
