Allison is from and currently resides in Rochelle, IL. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in Health Sciences and received her doctoral degree from Northern Illinois University. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog, playing volleyball, exercising, and relaxing through reading or drawing.
Why did you become a Therapist?
I have always been interested in human anatomy, movement patterns, and exercise. I originally became introduced to physical therapy after having to attend myself when I was in high school and injured my shoulder during softball. I became even more interested after watching my grandpa at the age of 65 suffer from a stroke and see the progress he made with physical therapy from being wheelchair bound to walking.
