Meet Angie Dixon

PTA

Angie is from Davenport, IA and currently resides in Iowa City, IA. Angie received her Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant at Kirkwood Community College. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, movies, traveling, running, walks with her dog and spending time with friends and family. She is very active with her kids sporting, musical, and theater events.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist Assistant?

I became a Physical Therapist Assistant because I enjoy working with people and it keeps me very active. When I was in high school my dear friend “Doc” encouraged me to volunteer with a local Physical Therapist in his clinic. I never looked back, and here I am 20 years later still working with people and enjoying what I do every day. Thanks, “Doc.”

What are you involved with in your community?

I volunteer with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop, volunteer at my kid’s school, and I enjoy running local races.
