Angela Nixon

Meet Angela Nixon

PT, MPT

Angie is from Wisconsin and currently lives in Omaha, Nebraska. Angie studied Exercise Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Outside of work she enjoys time with family and friends, pilates training, sports events, concerts, and sand volleyball.

Why did you become a Therapist?

I had a back injury in High School, had to quit volleyball, switch gears, and get involved in non-sport activities for a while. That experience made me want to help heal injuries so people can get back to doing what they love. The human body and our ability to heal amazes me.

What are you involved in in your community?

Teaching pilates, Sunday School teaching, volunteering for school events, cheering on my daughter and her team at their obstacle course competitions, Womenade of Elkhorn.
