Meet Ben Jobgen

Ben is from and currently resides in Davenport, IA. Ben received his undergraduate degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, and his physical therapy degree from the University of Iowa. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, and being involved in various athletics.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

I became a Physical Therapist because I was looking to work, in some aspect, within healthcare. In high school, I was injured during wrestling, and was referred to a physical therapist to facilitate the healing, and return to wrestling, process. I enjoyed the care I received, and found an interest in the profession. The rest, shall they say, is history.

What are you involved in in your community?

I’m an elected city council member for the City of Davenport, the President of the Rising Knights Wrestling Club, and President of the Assumption High School Booster Club.
