Bethany grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA. She received her Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant from St. Catherine University in Minneapolis, MN. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, volunteering for various church activities, and supporting the Iowa State Cyclone Sports!
Why did you become a Physical Therapist Assistant?
During a junior high basketball practice, I fell and hurt my knee. I ended up having arthroscopic surgery and saw a physical therapist for rehab. I discovered during my knee rehab experience that I was interested in working in the healthcare field and started job shadowing in different P.T. settings.
