Meet Brenda Kemling

Brenda is originally from Nebraska and currently resides in Mt. Pleasant, IA. Brenda received her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of Nebraska and received her Master and Doctorate degrees from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, trying new food with her daughter, all things sports related, reading, and spending time outdoors.
Why did you become a Therapist?
I became a physical therapist because I wanted a profession where I could interact with people and guide them in becoming the best version of themselves.
What are you involved in in your community?
I've been involved with APTA Iowa for the past 13 years in various roles, including Federal Affairs Liaison, Vice President/President-Elect, and now Delegate. I also look for other volunteer opportunities whether that be working in community gardens, Habitat for Humanity, etc.
