Meet Brittney England

PT, DPT, CCVR

Brittney is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Movement and Exercise Science and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University. Outside of work, Brittney enjoys being active in activities such as soccer, weightlifting and hiking, as well as any opportunity to be boating with her family on the lake.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

When I was in high school, my grandpa had 2 strokes within the same month. I spent a lot of time with him in the hospital and watched the amazing therapists take him through his rehab. Seeing him gain his independence and quality of life back, sparked my interest in the profession. About 5 years later, I had PT for my own back injury. Doctors had told me I’d have to quit playing soccer if I didn’t want surgery. After 2 months of physical therapy, I was back on the field with no issues. I know physical therapy works!
