Meet Deana Trotter

PT, MPT

Deana Trotter was born and raised in Iowa and currently resides in Eldridge. Deana received her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Biology and she received her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from St. Ambrose University. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, bible study, boating in the Ozarks, and spending time with her husband and three children.

Why did you become a therapist?

I actually started college with plans to become a counselor, but then took my first Anatomy and Physiology class and loved it! Physical Therapy wove these two passions together and has allowed me to care for people both physically and emotionally.

What are you involved in in your community?

Because my faith is very important to me, much of my free time is spent volunteering with our church youth group leading small groups and mentoring teen girls. In addition, I help organize and lead summer youth mission trips. Other fun community activities include volunteering at the Moonlight Chase Race and helping lead exercise class at Grand Haven Retirement Center once a month.
