Why did you become a Therapist?
I became a pediatric physical therapist because I am passionate about empowering children to reach their full potential during crucial developmental years. Working with kids means every session is filled with creativity, play, and celebrating progress—whether that’s a small milestone or a major breakthrough. I find deep purpose in partnering with families to support their child’s growth, knowing that the foundation we build together can positively impact their entire life. There’s no greater privilege than helping a child gain the freedom to move, play, and explore!
What are you involved in in your community?
I am involved in Mississippi Bend Trykes, a chapter of AMBUCS. This organization raises funds to provide adapted tricycles to children who are unable to ride a traditional bicycle. I’m grateful to work alongside others who share the goal of increasing access to play and outdoor activities for all children.
