Meet Emily Pospischil

Clinic Manager, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC/L

Emily was born in a suburb of Cleveland, OH and grew up in Decatur, IL. She currently resides in Cedar Rapids, IA. Emily received her undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Athletic Training and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, running, trying new recipes, and spending time with family, her husband and their two girls. 

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I spent my senior year of high school in the athletic training room as a student athletic trainer. During my athletic training education in undergraduate school, I loved working with the athletes. While completing observation hours for applying to PT school, the variety of patients in the outpatient setting was extremely rewarding. I spent time with many skilled and passionate therapists that were involved in my decision to pursue my career in PT. 

What are you involved with in your community?
Fishing Has No Boundaries (FHNB), Quad City Marathon, Quad City Triathlon

• STMT-1 Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization certified
