Gary is from Knoxville, IA and currently resides in Clinton, IA. Gary received his Bachelor of Science degree, Graduate of Physical Therapy certificate, and Masters degree in Physical Therapy all from the University of Iowa. Outside of work he enjoys home maintenance and yard work, golf, and participating on different church committees.
Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
My maternal grandmother and an aunt were LPN’s and a high school career day exposure to the profession did influence my eventual choice in a medical career and a visit to the University of Iowa PT program solidified it.
What are you involved with in your community?
I’m an administrative council chairman and member of our safety committee at First Methodist, Clinton, IA. I am also a supporter of the local multiple sclerosis support group and it’s annual walk, a member of the Free Masons, Lyon’s Lodge, and Clinton Consistory Scottish Rite.
