Why did you become a Therapist?
I became a physical therapist because I’m passionate about helping people regain their independence and quality of life through movement. Seeing the direct impact of personalized care on someone’s recovery and confidence is what inspired me to pursue this career. Helping others overcome physical challenges and return to the activities they love is what makes this profession so fulfilling to me.
What are you involved in in your community?
While completing my Doctor of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University, I was actively involved on campus through the Physical Therapy Club and served as a student ambassador, welcoming prospective and incoming students. Now as a full-time resident of the Des Moines area, I look forward to becoming more involved in the community and contributing in meaningful ways.
