Meet Jacob Stearns

Clinic Manager, PT, DPT, ATC

Jake is from Knoxville, IA and currently resides in Des Moines, IA. Jake received his undergraduate degree from Simpson College in Athletic Training and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University. Outside of work he enjoys participating in several adult sports leagues including disc golf, volleyball, soccer, and basketball.

Why did you become a Therapist?

Physical Therapy was a perfect fit form me. I have always had a passion towards athletics and the ability to stay active while truly enjoying learning about the human body. Having been a patient in the past, I have been able to see the tremendous impact Physical Therapy can have on a persons’ quality of life and am grateful to have the opportunity to provide this service to others.
