Meet Jeremy Starr

PT, DPT

Jeremy grew up in Maquoketa, IA and currently resides in Clinton, IA. Jeremy received his Masters of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy both from Clarke University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, scuba diving, watching movies, being outdoors, and golfing.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
In high school a football injury required 3 months of physical therapy on my knee. This stimulated the idea of physical therapy as a profession. I worked in a PT office during my senior year of high school performing ultrasounds, muscle stimulation, hot/cold packs, and setting up machines for patients. The helping nature of the profession combined with the patient’s joyful reaction to progress lead me to this career.

What are you involved with in the community?
In the community, Jeremy enjoys participating in peer-group at church.
