Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

I grew up playing sports and have always loved being active. When it came time to choose a career, physical therapy felt like a natural fit. I spent time shadowing in different settings and was drawn to the versatility of the profession and its shared goal- helping patients return to what they love. I appreciate that physical therapy is truly patient-centered, with a strong focus on function and improving quality of life.

What are you involved with in your community?

I enjoy being involved in the Quad Cities community through a variety of volunteer and outreach opportunities. I serve on the Volunteer Associate Board for ImpactLife, support pediatric cancer foundations, and serve on the Family Advisory Committee for Level 11 at Stead Family Children’s Hospital. I also value staying active locally and participating in community events.
