Why did you become a Therapist?
I became an Occupational Therapist because I'm passionate about helping people regain what matters most to them and live the highest quality of life possible. I've always enjoyed connecting with people, and this career allows me to build meaningful relationships while helping patients achieve the goals that matter most to them.
What are you involved in in your community?
Right now, a lot of my time outside of work is spent with family. My wife and I have two young children under the age of three, so life is extremely busy! When I have the opportunity, I enjoy staying active through the Midwest Xtreme Triathlon Club and being involved with my local church. As my kids get a little older and we're beyond the infant stage, I'm looking forward to becoming even more involved in the community and finding new ways to give back.
Awards and Certifications:
Prior to earning my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, I worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, where I gained valuable clinical experience and earned advanced certification in the treatment and management of lymphedema.
