Meet Justin Alpers

PT, DPT

Justin is from Cottage Grove, MN and currently resides in Iowa City, IA. Justin received his undergraduate degree in Health & Human Physiology and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. Outside of work, he enjoys playing board games and doing puzzles, spending time with family and friends, watching IndyCar races, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota professional teams.

Why did you become a Therapist?

After repeated knee injuries and ongoing physical therapy in my early teenage years, I started to consider a career in physical therapy. This desire was strengthened after shadowing PTs and taking classes on the human body. I strive to connect with each patient and meet them where they are in order to improve their current abilities.
