Meet Kalais Slaubaugh

Clinic Manager, PT, DPT

Kalais is from Readlyn, IA and currently resides in Waterloo, Iowa. Kalais received her undergraduate degree from Coe College and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitative Sciences from the University of Iowa. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, and eating good food.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

I became a physical therapist to give power back to people. So many times in life, “things happen to us.” This work, the relationships I get to build with people, allows me to help shift the power back to people, so they can impact the world they live in starting with their own bodies.
