Why did you become a Occupational Therapist?
After my grandma had a terrible accident which required brain surgery, I was able to see how occupational therapy helped her return to independence. I always wanted to find a profession where I could have a positive impact on people. It is very rewarding to be able to help someone return to an activity they were doing prior to therapy, and regain their independence.
