Kristi Wambeke

Meet Kristi Wambeke

PT, BS

Kristi is from Southwestern MN and currently resides north of Morrison, IL. Kristi received her Physical Therapy degree from Northern Illinois University. Outside of work, Kristi enjoys bicycling which involves about 5000 miles/year and an annual trip to different states through the years to ride 500 miles. She has ridden in PA, KY, Blue Ridge Parkway, Pacific Coast Highway, MN, WI, MI, TN, UT, NY, OH, and Natchez Trace Parkway. She also enjoys hiking and has hiked most of the mountain ranges in the US and is now adventuring to other countries to continue her hiking adventures. In addition, she has extensive landscaping involving many different varieties of flowers, bushes, and trees.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

I have always been interested in physical health combined with a desire to be involved in a medical career, and physical therapy was the obvious choice.

What are you involved with in your community?

I’m a member of the local Rotary and a local community group that helps develop local bicycling paths in the community.
