Meet Maddison Gehrke

PT, DPT

Maddison is from Rockwell, IA and currently resides in Shueyville. Maddison received her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Movement and Exercise Science and received her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Allen College. Outside of work she enjoys running, taking her chocolate lab for walks on different trails, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying time outdoors.

Why did you become a Therapist?

From a young age I knew I wanted to work in the health care field because my mom established a successful career in long term care and my dad in maintenance work at a rural hospital. I became comfortable with those settings and enjoyed learning everyone’s role within the facilities. Through personal experience and shadowing in different settings, I knew I could use my gifts and talents to help many individuals regain, gain, or adapt function to improve their quality of life.
