Meet Martin Foxen

PT, MPT

Martin is from Rockford, IA and currently resides in Cedar Rapids, IA. He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy both from the University of Iowa. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, running, and backpacking.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

I became interested in Physical Therapy after I started running marathons as a young adult. It wasn’t long before I was interested in anatomy, physiology, and injury prevention. I wanted a profession that was centered around helping people and improving their quality of life. This ultimately led to a change in my occupation, and I returned to college to become a Physical Therapist.
