Meet Matthew Teijido

PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Matthew is from and currently resides in Port Byron, Illinois. Matthew received his undergraduate degree from St. Ambrose University and received his doctor of physical therapy degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center. Matthew completed his orthopedic residency at A.T. Still University, he completed his fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy at Bellin College, and he is currently working on his Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy degree there as well. Outside of work Matthew enjoys teaching, learning, spending time with his wife, his son, their two dogs, horses, cattle, and various other livestock on their small hobby farm in Port Byron.

Why did you become a Therapist?

To improve the quality of patient’s lives through less-invasive treatments, provide hope for recovery from injury and pain, and to educate others on what they can do for themselves to live better lives.
