Why did you become a Therapist?
I became a Physical Therapist because I was most interested in the human body and how it works. I wanted to know the most about how we can learn to take care of our bodies physically and help to heal injuries or other ailments. I was interested in a profession that worked with people of all ages and background and I wanted to help educate these clients on how they can take proper steps or exercises to promote healing and offer the most optimal functional status.
What are you involved in in your community?
I am part of a non-profit called FIRE Foundation of Northwest Iowa which provides advocacy, education, and resources to help provide inclusive Catholic education to all children.
