Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I had an injury in high school that resulted in several surgeries. During that experience, I realized how important a physical therapist could be in a person’s life. In addition to that experience, my father was a family practice doctor and I was consistently able to see how taking care of others made a big difference!
What are you involved with in your community?
I am involved in school and sport activities as I have three children attending school (University of Iowa, Assumption High School). I am a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bettendorf. I am the chair of the payment policy committee for the Iowa Physical Therapy Association. I am the alternate RUC advisor to the American Physical Therapy Association representing physical therapy payment. I am the president of Midwest Therapy Network.
