Meet Scott McManus

PT, DPT

Scott is from Peru, Illinois and currently resides in Davenport, Iowa. Scott received their undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in Kinesiology and received their Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from St. Ambrose University. Outside of work Scott enjoys golfing and working out.

Why did you become a Therapist?

My mom played an important role in me becoming a PT. She is an OT and has always thought that my love for the human body and my personality would make me a great PT. Also with that, I had PT in 8th grade due to a foot surgery. The therapist I worked with treated me almost like his own son. From there, I ended up working for him as a PT Tech and really fell in love with being able to make connections with patients while also helping them through some of the toughest times of their lives. Since then, I really haven’t looked back and have dove head first into the PT world.
