Troy Roehrs

Troy is originally from Hampton, NE and currently resides in Fort Calhoun, NE. Troy received his undergraduate degree from The University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training in 1988 and received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990. Outside of work he enjoys gardening, hunting, woodworking, and traveling with his wife to spend time with their three daughters.

Why did you become a Therapist?

I enjoyed athletics in high school and tended to gravitate toward activities involving conditioning and fitness. Injuries in high school athletics exposed me to the Physical Therapy profession and I saw how Physical Therapy could allow me work with individuals who shared a similar desire to recover and improve their overall level of performance and function.

What are you involved in in your community?
I have stayed involved in our local Church through serving as President of the Congregation, an Eider of the Congregation, Head Usher, and served on numerous committees. I have been active in the past on the Nebraska State Physical Therapy Association Re-imbursement Committee, and a State Delegate for the National Physical Therapy Association Annual Conference.
