It is time to play it back.
And Kristie Boll, PT, DPT, is going to do it in a great town filled with amazing people.
Boll, the longtime clinic manager at Rock Valley Physical Therapy’s Prophetstown, Illinois-based clinic (321 Washington St., 815 537-8899), is returning to the position. She begins her latest Prophetstown adventure on June 22.
In October of 2023, citing an opportunity to work closer to her Bettendorf, Iowa home, Boll transferred to Rock Valley’s Davenport, Iowa (53rd Ave.) clinic.
With Brooke Russell, PT, DPT, CMT, GTS, who replaced Boll in 2023 taking another position in the healthcare field, Boll will return to guide Rock Valley’s fortunes under the big blue awning. Brenda Dessing, Rock Valley/Prophetstown’s longtime Clinical Experience Associate, a tremendous fixture in the Prophetstown clinic, remains to assist Boll.
“I have decided to return to P-town to serve those in a community where I still feel like I belong,’’ Boll said. “My heart and soul are grounded in smalltown living, where everyone knows your name. Where simple, comfortable, and picturesque meets a slower pace of life in a charming atmosphere. This is what I missed most, taking care of a true community.’’
A New Vienna, Iowa native, Boll earned her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from St. Ambrose University. As she stated when she made the move closer to home in 2023, nothing has changed in her eyes and heart. Those in her care and in the care of the Rock Valley/Prophetstown clinic, will receive the same high-quality personalized care all dedicated to making their lives better.
“My goals for the clinic are to see it thrive by taking care of the community's physical therapy needs while promoting overall health and wellbeing,’’ said Boll, who offered tremendous praise for the job Russell did leading the Prophetstown clinic.
“I would like to be a source of comfort and knowledge, guiding patients through a troublesome time in their life and returning them to their optimal level,’’ Boll added. “It is vital to have a Rock Valley presence in such an amazing community because we are the premiere physical therapy group in the region who commits to helping you get better or finding someone who can. Our dedication to patient-centered care is top-notch and unrivaled. Brooke has done a wonderful job, and I am grateful for everything she has accomplished with her time as clinical manager.’’
